The Little Village is a play space and cafe where the parenting community and our smallest residents can grow. Based on community and creativity, The Little Village houses unique play spaces and activities for young children and their grownups to connect with other community members and create lifelong friendships–all while fostering imagination and creativity in children.
Our Mission: To provide a safe, comforting space where caregivers and children can make meaningful connections and nourish their curiosity through imaginative exploration and creative expression.
About the Owners

We are Ryan and Laura Fritts, a couple of creatives on a mission to give our children a magical childhood - and we'd like to invite you and your family along for the ride!
Our decision to open a play space for children in Cottage Grove that includes a relaxing space for adults to connect, unwind, and enjoy a great cup of coffee, stems from our own experiences. We have had three children within the past six years. We understand first-hand the struggles of stay-at-home parenting and the lack of kid-friendly spaces we are able to enjoy along with our children.
We have designed The Little Village to offer parents and caregivers an alternative option to the indoor jungle gym. A place where they can recharge and join in with their children as they explore, create, and dream big. We will go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and a part of our community. From the thoughtful design of our space to allow for complete visibility of children, to the comfortable atmosphere and healthy snack options in the café, we are creating a convenient sanctuary for parents, and a unique and engaging play space for children.
